CONTINUING CARE PROGRAMS

Services & Activities to Support Recovery & Stay Connected

We are committed to helping patients achieve a lasting recovery, whether they received treatment at Enterhealth or with another provider. Addiction is a chronic condition, and recovery doesn’t end with treatment – a continuing care program is critical to sustaining it.

We provide a number of ways to help patients maintain sobriety:

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Enterhealth’s Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) offer more support and guidance than traditional once-a-week rehab counseling and are complemented by family, individual/group therapy, and educational sessions. Ideal for working professionals and others who prefer evening meetings, sessions last approximately 3 hours per evening, 3 days a week for 8 consecutive weeks. Learn More>

Supportive Outpatient Programs (SOP)

Our Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP) provides the support and guidance of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), but with a less intense schedule. The primary goal of SOP is to help individuals to re-engage in recovery and use their enhanced knowledge gained in residential care to prevent relapse. Supportive Outpatient Programs (SOP) meet for approximately one-and-a-half hours an evening, two days a week, and run for eight consecutive weeks.

At Enterhealth, we offer addiction recovery support via our teletherapy service for patients who are unable to attend in-person therapy sessions. Sustained support is important to remain in recovery, and teletherapy helps patients be self-accountable, remain compliant, and stay meaningfully connected to Enterhealth’s professional clinicians. Medication Management

Enterhealth offers management and monitoring of addiction/psychiatric medication(s) by board-certified addiction psychiatrists. Some patients need medication to treat symptoms of dual-diagnosis conditions such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, or other issues that co-occur with addiction. Anti-addiction medications may also be prescribed to reduce cravings and promote sobriety and healing of the brain – all under expert medical supervision. We can now provide this service through our telemedicine program.

Counseling Services

We believe that people in recovery will always need some support in order to maintain long-term sobriety. We provide a number of services, including trauma, career, life and legal, as well as individual, group, family and couples counseling. All of these services are important for recovery because they can identify underlying emotional issues within the individual or family that may have contributed to addiction. Learn More>

Alumni Activities

We want to stay connected with patients and help them stay in touch with each other. Throughout the year, we offer fun, free activities for alumni to get together. We also share tips on sustaining recovery through email. If you are an Enterhealth Alumni and not already on our list, visit our Alumni Association page and let’s get you connected!
